7  Context covers a wide range of information pertaining to a object. What counts as context is highly dependent on the application, and may include any observation or assertion about an object of interest (a ContextEntity). Anind Dey's original definition is still appropriate:
     8
9  Context is any information that can be used to characterize the situation of an entity. An entity is a person, place, or object that is considered relevant to the interaction between a user and an application, including the user and applications themselves. (Anind K. Dey and Gregory D. Abowd, Towards a Better Understanding of Context and Context-Awareness, 2000).
